Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage in your browser. Together, we refer to these as "cookies" in this policy where the distinction is not important for your choices.

2. How We Use Cookies

TransplantHair uses cookies and local storage for essential operation and optional product analytics. We show a cookie banner on first visit where you can accept or reject analytics cookies with equal choice. Rejecting analytics does not block use of the site.

You can reopen your choice anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer.

  • Authentication: We use cookies to identify you when you sign in so you can stay logged in as you browse.
  • Security: We use cookies to support security features and detect malicious activity.
  • Analytics: We use a privacy-focused analytics service (hosted in the EU) to understand how visitors use our platform — for example, page views, feature usage, and optional session recordings. It stores identifiers in your browser's local storage.

3. Types of Cookies and Storage We Use

The following table summarizes the main cookies and storage entries:

Name / patternPurposeDuration
is_authenticatedManages your login session and authentication state.Session / persistent
ph_* (analytics)Product analytics, session identification, and optional session replay.Up to 1 year (provider default)

4. Session Recording

Our analytics service may record a subset of user sessions to help us improve usability. Password fields are masked. We do not intentionally record head scan camera feeds in analytics — head scan photos are handled separately under our Privacy Policy.

5. Do Not Track and GPC

Our analytics configuration respects Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals where supported by our provider.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of analytics cookies.

6. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from staying logged in. Blocking analytics storage will not affect core functionality but limits our ability to improve the product.

For more about how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We encourage you to check this page periodically for changes.
